STUDENTS from a Barnoldswick high school dressed to impress in glamorous gowns and swish suits for their school prom celebration.
Held in the picturesque surroundings of Stirk House near Gisburn, West Craven High School students enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere and a variety of end of year awards.
After a three-course meal, students danced the night away, but only after they had faced staff in a dance off, where student Thomas Ashworth’s moves wowed the judges to win.
Debbie Gartland, Head of Year 11, said: “It was a truly fitting end to what has been a wonderful year group.
“I would like to thank the senior prefect team who assisted with the organisation of the prom, in particular our Head Girl, Jodie Holden who did an amazing job.”
