SEVEN guided walks led by local volunteers will take place next week in the Yorkshire Dales.

The events are part of National Parks Week, which runs from Monday to Sunday, July 30.

The seven walks are: Discover Aisgill Force - 1.30pm to 4pm on Tuesday, to book call 01969 666210; Linton Heritage Trail - 2pm to 4.30pm on Tuesday, call 01756 715690; Kisdon Classic Circular - 11am to 4pm on Thursday, July 27, call 01748 884059; The Erratic Boulders of Norber and a Secret Dale - 11am to 3.30pm on Saturday, July 29, call 01729 833200; By Castle and Byway - 10am to 3.30pm on Sunday, July 30, call 01969 662910; Hawes Rural Heritage - 11am to 4pm on Sunday, July 30, call 01969 666210; Red Squirrels and Other Wildlife of Snaizeholme - 2pm to 4.30pm on Tuesday, August 1, call 01969 666210.

For adults there is a £5 charge. Children are free but no dogs are allowed.

All the money raised goes to the Three Peaks Project, which supports footpath and access work on Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
