FILM makers spent three days in Skipton last week on a new eight episode series to be broadcast by Netflix.
The crew took over the old telephone exchange building in Newmarket Street and used part of next door St Andrew's Methodist and United Reformed Church as a "green" room for the actors and production team.
Their arrival caused marginal disruption for pedestrian who were barred from using the short cut alongside the church from Newmarket Street to Otley Road.
The so-far untitled drama has also been shot in Norway and other parts of the UK and is an original series produced by UK-based New Pictures, led by Charlie Pattinson, Elaine Pyke and Willow Grylls.
A Netflix spokesman said he was unable to confirm who were the stars of the series which was written and created by Hania Elkington and Simon Duric
Farren Blackburn is Executive Producer - alongside Charlie Pattinson, Elaine Pyke and Willow Grylls-and director of six episodes.
