Thomas McCarthy
A SINGER and storyteller from an Irish Traveller family regarded as one of the most authentic voices in the folk music tradition is to perform in Burton in Lonsdale.
Thomas McCarthy has worked in schools storytelling and singing to the children, spoken at equality and diversity events and been invited to Europe and America to sing, speak and tell stories.
He has also toured the UK and Ireland extensively, and will be at Burton in Lonsdale Village Hall on Thursday, September 21, starting at 7.30pm.
