A 19 YEAR old man was taken to hospital last night after losing control of his car on Settle Lane, near Newsholme in the Ribble Valley.
Lancashire Police say the man lost control of his Ford Fiesta and had left the road, he was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed by firefighters before being taken to hospital.
A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "We were called around 9.10pm yesterday to reports of a serious road traffic collision in Settle Lane, Newsholme. A 19-year-old man driving a Ford Fiesta had lost control of the vehicle and left the carriageway. He was trapped in the vehicle and freed by firefighters. He was taken to hospital for treatment."
