A SOCIAL group for survivors of strokes, their families and carers will kick off in Skipton on Thursday, October 5.
The monthly meetings, which will take place on the first Thursday of every month, will be an opportunity for anyone affected by stroke to receive support and advice, while also meeting others in the same situation.
Sessions will take place from 2pm to 3.30pm every month at Dyneley Barn, behind the surgery on Newmarket Street, and are part of Dyneley House's programme of peer support events.
