SKIPTON Library will be staging a Halloween special as part of next week's family learning festival.
Halloween storytime at the High Street library will take place on Thursday (October 27) between 2pm and 2.45pm.
The festival, which will run in several North Yorkshire libraries, is being coordinated by national charity the Campaign for Learning as part of its aim to build a culture of learning everywhere.
Councillor Greg White, North Yorkshire County Council's executive member for libraries, said: “Learning as a family can help us to become confident, lifelong learners with all the benefits that brings, from better health to being happier. Family learning supports children in achieving at school and can help us to find new passions and interests and realise our aspirations through further learning. Learning is at the heart of what libraries do. They are there throughout your learning journey and are local and accessible to all.”
