This year Bentham Auction Mart hosted their second Christmas in the Mart. This was held on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November and featured 26 super talented Crafts Makers, Bakers and Artists showcasing their beautiful hand crafted items and tasty local food to sample and purchase.

There was also live music from John Soderberg, an up and coming young musician, which had the crowds singing along. Running throughout the event was an Interactive Advent Calendar, created by Churches Together in Bentham, which was a lot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed by children and families.

Hot food and drinks kept the crowds full and warm, with mulled wine and mince pies being served throughout by Bentham Auction Mart, Farming Crisis Network and Bentham Show raising money for Charity. Christmas Trees were also sold for the first time, raising money for the charity Dig Deep and once again the stall holders have created two lovely hampers which will be given to local families in need this Christmas.

A great time was had by all who attended. Thank you once again to all our wonderful stall holders and to all of you who paid us a visit. Watch this space for our return next year!!!
