A LOOK back at 50 years of entertainment will feature in one of Craven's longest-running annual traditions.

The Austwick Community Players will putting on a "hilarious and nostalgic" celebration of popular culture and events of the last half-century in two performances on Friday, and Saturday, March 2 and 3, at Austwick Parish Hall.

The tradition started as sketches and songs following a supper held for the Over 60s of the Lawkland and Austwick parishes in 1968, and has been kept up ever since.

Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm for both performances and tickets at £6, including refreshments, £2.50 for children, are available from any of the players or on the door. More information is available on 01729 822079.
