THE Recent good weather has seen some equally good scoring at Skipton of late but Jesse Teiti took this to another level in the club’s Coronation Trophy.
His nett 61 off a seven handicap saw him win the competition by a clear five shots from Harry Ayrton and Nicholas Fielden.
Teiti’s round started in some style and he was two under par after just four holes.
He followed this with a string of pars before dropping shots at the difficult 15th and 16th holes.
However he was not to be denied and bounced straight back with an eagle two on the 17th and finish with a gross two-under par 68. Mark Singleton’s net 67 was the leading score in Division Two.
