AN image has been released of a man police would like to speak to in connection with an indecent exposure on board a train between Leeds and Skipton.

A spokesperson for the British Transport Police (BTP) said the incident happened at around 1.50pm on July 6 when a man sat opposite a woman on the train.

"He was wearing shorts and, when he opened his legs, he exposed himself to the woman," the spokesperson said.

"The man closed his legs when other passengers, including the train guard, passed by.

"The man joined the service at Steeton and Silsden station.

"Officers would like to speak to the man in this image as they believe he may have information which could help the investigation."

Anyone who can help identify the man is asked to text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 405 of July 6.
