RATHMELL Young Farmers' Club held its 74th Annual Show on Saturday amid glorious sunshine.

Organiser said there was a very high standard of exhibits in all sections, the most entries on the field for sometime.

Taking supreme champion in the Sheep Section was James Lambert with his pure bred Beltex ewe and Reserve Champion going to James Lambert with ram lamb.

In the cattle section which had been judged on farm Champion Dairy Animal went to Anna Booth with her dairy cow and Reserve Champion to Liam Moorhouse with his dairy cow.

In the indoor classes there were a high number of entries and an excellent standard, with 14 window boxes and 12 sets of eggs.

Prizes were announced by club chairman James Bradley and presented by the club president Linda Brennand, who congratulated all those taking part and thanked everyone for attending. A vote of thanks was given by vice chairman Edward Bradley and Liam Halliday.
