BUS passengers are being reminded of changes to services between Skipton and Ilkley from this weekend.

Service 64 between Skipton and Ilkley, operated by the Keighley Bus Company, will follow a different route in Skipton from Monday (February 28).

Buses will run along the High Street, The Bailey, Harrogate Road and the by-pass, following the same route as Cravenlink Sunday service 884.

Newmarket Street and Otley Road will no longer be served by service 64, but will still be covered by North Yorkshire County Council minibus service 73 on Monday to Friday.

Barden Moor Road is due to reopen this weekend following closure for the installation of new electricity cables by Northern Powergrid.

As a result, from Sunday (February 27) Cravenlink Sunday bus service 873 between Skipton and Ilkley will revert to the usual route between Embsay and Bolton Abbey via Eastby, Barden Moor and Strid Wood.
