A MODEL steam locomotive is expected to sell for between £7,000 and £10,000 when it goes under the hammer at Tennants Auctioneers, Leyburn, on July 27.
Made by famous model train maker, James Stanley Beeson, who died in 1990, the The O Gauge 2-6-2T Class 3MT locomotive was once illustrated in the October 1960 issue of Railway Modeller magazine.
Also included in the toys, models and collectables sale are a private collection of Hornby and Bachmann models and for Star Wars fans, a limited edition Hans Solo figure in its original box, which has an estimate of £120 to £180.
