SOFT Fruit for Christmas is the subject of a talk at Glusburn this month.
Hilary Dodson will be guest speaker at a meeting of Glusburn and Cross Hills Gardening Society.
"Hilary is chair of the Northern Fruit Group and will offer advice about all aspects of growing fruit and using it for Christmas recipes," said Derek Blackwell, for the society.
The meeting is at Glusburn Community and Arts Centre – in Colne Road – on Friday, December 16, at 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome.
Admission is £3 for members and £4 for non-members, including refreshments.
Membership for a programme of eight meetings costs £5.
