ALL are welcome to join a 25-mile circular cycle ride starting and finishing in Settle on Saturday, May 13.

Organised by the Bowland and Ewecross Deanery, the route will use only quiet roads, will start at around 10.30am at Settle Parish Church and aim to finish back in Settle at around 3pm.

From Settle, cyclists will head off to Eldroth, then onto Keasden, before dropping down towards Clapham Station; then on to Goat Gap for coffee and snacks. After a break, it will be onto Newby from the back road to Clapham, then Austwick, Wharfe and Stackhouse Lane returning to Settle.

A spokesperson for organisers said: "All are welcome. We will have plenty of time to complete this lovely route, visiting churches en-route, and enjoying some splendid views."

Those who are planning to go need to book in with Canon Ian Greenhalgh on iangreenhalgh49@gmail.com so organisers know how many cyclists to expect. Parking is available near Settle Parish Church BD24 9JA on surrounding streets, or in Whitefriars Carpark opposite (£3.90 all day).
