CRAVEN College has a range of free part-time courses starting from September 2023 for any adults, aged 19 and over, who are thinking about gaining qualifications for employment, learning a new skill, or simply want a new hobby.
Adults can benefit from free courses in a wide range of subjects such as ceramics, printmaking, reflexology, fitness instructing, accounting, brickwork, painting & decorating, dry stone walling, counselling, criminology, family history, floristry and sign language. To be eligible for any of the free courses on offer, applicants must live within a North Yorkshire local authority area.
The College also offers a number of other part-time courses for adults, with varying course fees, that include dog grooming, art & design, stained glass, beauty therapy, personal training, leadership & management, plastering, joinery, plumbing, English and maths, adult care and languages, and there may be fee remission available on many of these courses.
