A CROSS Hills gardener who has been opening his small sunken garden, Greystones, in Brown Bank Terrace, to the public has thanked all visitors who have spent time looking at his garden and helping him raise money for charity.
Since he opened his garden two years ago, Stephen Clemence has raised around £600 - £364 for the charity Perennial - raised last year - and £226 up to July this year for Sight Airedale, a charity dedicated to the blind.
Stephen's garden has a variety of climbing and herbaceous shrubs and perennials, along with water features, an Alpine rockery, roses and small trees.
He is currently raising money for the Airedale Hospital and Community Charity.
