AFTER a good summer tennis season in the Bradford Parks, Wharfedale and Friendly leagues Cross Hills tennis club held its end of season social and tennis tournament.
A very competitive final was played with Brian Shears winning the men's trophy, Adele Moss the ladies and Angus Logan the junior tournament. A barbecue and buffet lunch followed and was enjoyed by all.
The club welcomes new members from complete beginners to those who want to play more competitively in the local leagues. It offers coaching for juniors and adults on Sundays, run by Kinetic Tennis - kinetics.tennis@gmail.com . Winter membership is now available .
It has three all-weather courts and floodlights and so tennis is played all year round. Information about the club and membership is on the club's website - crosshills.net - or pop down on a Tuesday or Thursday evening or Saturday morning to the social tennis sessions and have a chat.
