SPELLMAN Care has been named ‘Family-Run Care Home Group of the Year 2023’ in the fifth Northern Enterprise Awards, with one of its homes, Craven Nursing Home in Skipton also being named ‘Best Permanent Nursing and Dementia Care Home 2023 – North Yorkshire’.
2023 was a good year for the family-run group of residential and nursing homes - it achieved the ‘carehome.co.uk top 20 Award’ again in February for Craven Nursing Home; was ‘Highly Commended’ at the Stars of Social Care Awards in June and has four members of staff reach the ‘Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care Awards’ finals in October.

Spellman Care has been operating in the area for more than 30 years. The group includes Craven Nursing Home, Keighley Road, Skipton; Ghyll Royd Care Home, Guiseley; Springbank Care Home, Silsden, and Steeton Court Nursing Home, Steeton.
