A SECOND 'eco day' is being planned for Skipton Town Hall in the Spring.
Organisers, Skipton Rotary Club said following the success of last year's event, it was holding another in April and was now looking for sponsors and exhibitors.
The free, family orientated event will feature a treasure hunt, face painting a 'human fruit machine, animal encounters and a recyclable clothing children's fashion show and crafts. Prizes will include wildflower packs and animal face masks.
Nicky Shoesmith, President of Skipton Rotary, said:“We are delighted to have received so much positive feedback following last year’s Eco Day and hope to build on this in April."
The club said all the groups that showcased their eco-related causes last year really appreciated the opportunity to meet others with similar aims and to be able to promote their cause to those who attended the event.
The eco day is due to take place on the afternoon of Saturday, April 27. More details on Skipton Rotary Facebook Page, or email david.newall@skiptonrotary.org.
