A public inquiry is to be held into refused plans to build a wind farm at Brightenber Hill, near Gargrave.
EnergieKontor UK has appealed against the refusal of its plans to build five 100-metre-high turbines on farmland.
The scheme was turned down by Craven District Council in December.
The council, which refused the application against the recommendation of planning consultants, will now contact more than 700 people who originally commented about the plans.
