Julian Smith, Member of Parliament for Skipton and Ripon, has put the focus on agriculture and farming in a series of events.
He hosted a meeting for dairy farmers at Skipton Auction Mart, invited farmers with concerns to come to a farming surgery and held his third annual Agriculture Summit in Kettlesing.
He said: “These events were a chance for me to talk directly with farmers and those working within the agricultural industry that is so important to my constituency.
“I heard about the challenges that continue regarding milk prices, the use of pesticides and relationships with agencies like Natural England and the Rural Payments Agency.
“I will be following up on the concerns and issues raised with ministers, supermarkets and producers to ensure the voice of our agricultural community is heard at Westminster.”
