CHILDREN and staff are jubilant after inspectors praised a Carleton children’s nursery for the "welcoming, friendly and safe" environment it provides.
Rocking Horse Day Nursery received a “good” rating following a recent inspection by regulatory body Ofsted.
Its staff were praised for their close bonds with the children, the strong partnerships with parents and their teamwork.
The inspectors commended the nursery for engaging and motivating the children in their care,"allowing them to flourish in a warm and safe environment."
Particular praise was given to the outdoor environment, described as “wonderful and inviting” in the report.
Owner Jackie Asquith said: “I’m delighted by the findings and would like to thank my loyal team of staff for working together to achieve this fantastic result.”
The nursery provides private childcare for children aged three months to five years.
