PIRATES invaded Cononley Primary School - but it was all a bit of fun.
Reception-aged youngsters in the Early Explorers class enjoyed a pirate day as a grand finale to their topic.
Headteacher Paula Hillman said: "All the children came to school dressed as pirates and made boat jelly and homemade lemonade in the morning.
"In the afternoon parents were invited in to a feast of pirate singing and performance."
