Craven College students are organising a sponsored walk on Saturday.
The team is staging a ten-mile walk to raise money for local children’s charity SELFA.
Starting at 9am from The Lion at Settle, the walk will take in the first section of the Pennine Bridleway with views of Malham Tarn and the Three Peaks.
The students hope to attract fellow hikers in a bid to raise significant funds for the lharity that supports disabled, disadvantaged and vulnerable children throughout Craven.
SELFA co-ordinator Emma Pears said: “We continue to receive wonderful support from many of the families we support and from the wider community as a whole. Without fundraising initiatives like these, we would not be able to continue our varied work helping local children.”
To take part in the event, contact SELFA on: 01756 795245.
