SKIPTON MPJulian Smith focused on agriculture and farming issues during visits to Skipton and Bentham’s Auction Marts.
He hosted agricultural drop-in surgeries during the regular sales last Wednesday and spoke to farmers and those involved in the industry about their concerns and the issues they are facing.
The MP has been holding a series of similar sessions across the constituency throughout the autumn.
He said: “Agricultural and farming issues are hugely important in a constituency as rural as mine, which is why I have been hosting this series of special drop-in events through the autumn.
“It was good to hear directly from farmers across Craven at Skipton and Bentham Auction Marts and I will ensure their views are reflected in my work in Parliament in the future.”
