A MEETING next week of Craven and Pendle RSPB will mark a milestone.

Group leader Colin Straker will give his final talk before retiring, after 20 years on the committee and four decades as a voluntary warden with the charity.

His illustrated talk will be on Upland Birds of the Yorkshire Dales, focussing on the rarity of some and the increasing pressures they face.

The meeting is at Skipton Town Hall at 7.30pm on Thursday (Apr 2).
