SETTLE Charity Dances dived into the New Year in style.
Barbara McLernon, one of dance organisers, used the New Year's Eve dance to present Elizabeth Culshaw with a cheque for £135 to go towards the Ingleton Splash Park Project.
Costing £130,000, the splash park - which will be created at Ingleton's outdoor pool - will cater for younger children and will have full access for disabled and handicapped youngsters. The scheme has already won planning permission from Craven District Council.
"It was a lovely surprise and a great start to 2016 for the Splash Park Project," said Elizabeth.
Further donations for the Splash Zone can be left at Ingleborough Community Centre in Ingleton with cheques made payable to Ingleton Swimming Pool Improvement Fund.
