Ballroom dance: A ballroom dance will take place in the village hall tomorrow from 8pm. The music and entertainment will be provided by Alan Cookson and the entrance fee of £6.50 per person will include supper and a mug of tea.
Charity coffee: A coffee morning will take place between 10am and noon on Saturday in Gargrave Village Hall. There will be stalls and a raffle as well as homemade cakes, biscuits and buns. All proceeds will be donated to the Craven Cats Protection charity.
Flea market: The first flea market of the year hosted by Gargrave Village Hall will take place on Sunday between 10am and 4pm. The entrance fee of 50p per person entitles you to browse around the array of stalls selling antiques, bric a brac, crafts and collectibles. There is also a plant stall in the car park and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
St Andrew’s: On Sunday – the second of Lent – St Andrew’s will hold a Holy Communion at 8am and a Sung Eucharist at 10.30am.
