BOLTON Priory is to have a new curate.
He is Jonathan Cain, who will be ordained next summer after completing his training on the Yorkshire Ministry Course.
Born in London but resident in Yorkshire for nearly 20 years, Jonathan is a civil engineer by profession. Before responding to the call to ordained ministry he worked in the UK water industry with Yorkshire Water and, from 1994, with Skipton-based JN Bentley Ltd, where he served as engineering director.
John is married to Rebecca and they have four sons, all still at school. Commenting on Jonathan's appointment, the Rector of Bolton Priory, the Rev Simon Cowling, said: 'We are delighted that Jonathan will be joining the team at the Priory. He brings a mix of gifts and experience which will richly enhance our ministry.'
