Whatever the reasons behind the sale of the LMS sports ground in Skipton, it’s clear that the community is not being well served by the lack of dialogue or openness by those behind the scenes.
The ground is well used, and is a vital piece of sporting land for Skipton.
Selling it may be necessary – we don’t know as the LMS Social Club is refusing to speak to us.
What is clear, though, is that all sides need to get around the table and do the best thing for the community before it’s too late.
