Rob Baldwin is to resume captaining the England Counties XV after a two-year gap

Wharfedale’s Rob Baldwin is to again captain the England Counties XV.

The No 8, who has Greene King IPA Championship experience with Leeds Carnegie, will lead the squad when they tour France, facing the France Federale XV at Nevers on Friday, January 31 (8pm).

Baldwin previously led England Counties to East Africa two years ago.

The Counties squad will also face the Ireland Clubs XV at the Northern Echo Arena - home of Darlington Mowden Park - on Friday, February 21 (7.30pm).
