Barnoldswick Town's new manager Stewart Airdire suffered a 4-0 defeat at Norton United in his first North West Counties League Premier Division game.
Airdrie was placed in charge of team affairs on Thursday night when the club parted copmpany with the previous management team of Kevin Richardson, Paul Fildes and Chris Price.
Airdire, who was a joint manager along with Ben Hall and Richardson until midway through last season, will be in charge for the remainder of the campaign.
For his first game he had former skipper Shaun Airey, Carl Ellerton and Kieran Lee all returning to Town's colours.
