BARNOLDSWICK Town moved up to third in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division with a hard-earned 2-1 away win at Nelson.
Top scorer Joe Gaughan scored twice as Town secured their third away win of the new season on Tuesday night.
Gaughan’s penalty opener in the sixth minute was cancelled out by Sameed Ellahi a minute later, but Gaughan netted the all-important winner a minute before half-time.
Nicky McNally hit a hat-trick as Silsden romped to a 7-2 win over Daisy Hill in Division One.
McNally scored in the eighth, 44th and 82nd minutes while further goals were added by Leon Smith (2), Kyle Hancock and Luke Richardson.
