THERE were goals galore as Silsden were held to an incredible 6-6 draw at FC Oswestry Town in the Hallmark Security League lower tier.
Danny Forrest had given the Cobbydalers an 11th- minute lead but approaching the hour-mark they looked down and out at 4-1 down.
Amazingly, they turned the game to lead 6-4, at which point the hosts were reduced to ten men when double scorer Shaun Melusi was red-carded. But the ten men fought back to level.
It was a remarkable game and two of Silsden’s strikes went down as own goals off home keeper Conor Tinsley.
Kyle Hancock, with a brace, and Leon Smith joined Forrest on the score sheet.
