COMPETITVE golf returned to Skipton Golf Club on Sunday, signalling the end of the festive break.
Golfers appeared to be overjoyed out there early on Sunday, competing for the first piece of silver in 2022, the New Year Cup.
Competitors had to deal with extremely tough conditions, but it didn't put a dampener on proceedings.
Amidst the wind and rain, it was a full house for the New Year's Cup and following the event, Skipton Golf Club said: "Thank you to everyone who attended, we are all looking forward to a great year on and off the course."
