SKIPTON LMS have taken a big step towards winning the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division title.

While nearest rivals Trawden Celtic could only draw 0-0 at mid-table Grassington United, LMS were triumphing 3-2 at Silsden Whitestar to open up a six-point gap with six matches remaining.

Robert Bingham, Reece Fowler and Luke Howsen netted for the visitors, with Sam Stanfield (2) replying.

Rolls remained third after a 6-2 home romp against Gargrave, Liam Garbutt (3), Luke Cockroft, Gareth Hargreaves and Daniel Paton scoring, although the latter was later sent off for two yellow cards.

Ben Brown and Cameron Hodge got the consolations, but Rolls' result seemed even better when they heard that fourth-placed Settle United had only drawn 2-2 at improving basement boys Earby Town, Aaron Hollindrake and Mark Loughlin being on target for United.

Ryan Narey-inspired Cross Hills rose one spot to sixth after a 5-1 triumph at Grindleton.

In the First Division, William Knight's hat-trick couldn't prevent a 5-3 defeat at Ingrow & Worth Valley, while Shaun Wiseman's goal was all that Bradley could muster in a 3-1 home setback against Oxenhope Recreation.

The shock result, however, was second-placed Cowling's 5-0 home defeat to fifth-placed Rolls Reserves, which may open the door for Rolls' second string, as well as Sporting Keighley.

Carleton, in a four-way battle for the Second Division championship, improved their goal difference in a 9-0 home thrashing of Grassington United Reserves, Ashley Purnell (3), Ben Teal (3), Stuart Gee (2) and Joshua Banks netting, but Cononley Sports Reserves couldn't do Carleton a favour as second-placed visitors Broomhill won 2-0.

Neither could Settle United Reserves aid Carleton as they lost 3-2 at home to third-placed Polonia, Harry Bland and Tom Strickland being on target for the hosts.

In the Third Division, title favourites Hellifield went on their merry way with a 2-0 victory at Addingham, Dale Denham getting one of the goals, while third-placed Barnoldswick Barons were surprisingly held 3-3 by lowly Bingley Town Reserves, Alex Senior (2) and man of the match Luke Scothern scoring for the Barons.

The most amazing scoreline, however, came at eighth-placed AFC Barnoldswick, who trailed Ingrow & Worth Valley Reserves 2-1 at half-time but scored 11 goals without reply in the second half.

And they had TEN different scorers, the marksmen being Danny Wilmore (2), substitute Elliott Smale (2), man of the match Michael Finnigan, Matthew Holt, Lewis Horsham, Daniel Mala, Mark O'Neill, Thomas Pilling, Gary Storey and substitute Aiden Warhurst.

Barlick Wanderers, who climbed a place to sixth, were also among the goals, defeating Cowling Reserves 6-2, thanks to Daniel Holden (4), Connor Butler and Tom Duerden, Cowling's gong winner George Sellas and Sam Wedgwood replying.

Broomhill Reserves are off the bottom in the Third Division after a battling 3-3 draw at home to second-placed Otley Town, David Spence and Cameron Galindo among those netting, while Bingley Town Reserves picked up an equally unlikely 3-3 draw at home to fourth-placed Barnoldswick Barons.

However, Cowling Reserves lost 6-2 at Barlick Wanderers, man of the match George Sellas and Sam Wedgwood being on target.
