SKIPTON LMS have a great chance of reaching the semi-finals of the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League's Premier Division Cup.

They beat visitors Wilsden Athletic 3-2 in the first round, thanks to Fred Midgley (2) and Daniel Hunt, and now face bottom club Earby Town away in the last eight.

In the Premier Division, leaders Silsden Whitestar had their first draw of the season when visitors Pendle Renegades held them 3-3.

Andrew McNulty, Sam Stansfield and man of the match James Wilson netted for Whitestar, with parity bringing Settle United, Rolls, Renegades and Grassington United back into the equation.

Rolls won 8-0 at under-strength Sporting Keighley, and the margin would have been greater were it not for Sporting's keeper.

All three substitutes were on target for Rolls – Morgan Brown (2), Paul Holgate and Paul Oldroyd – whose other goals came from Neil Chapman (2), Carl Ellerton and Gareth Hargreaves.

Settle, who can draw level with Whitestar if they win their games in hand, beat Cross Hills 5-2, man of the match Robert Matthews and Christian Smith netting for the losers, while man of the match Luke Hepton (3), Elliot Firth and Tom Strickland were the winners' marksmen.

Grassington won 8-0 at Trawden Celtic, led by man of the match Jan Ozdoba's hat-trick, with other scorers including James Morgan (2), David Greenwood and Jack Schindler.

Not only did Cowling defeat leaders Manningham All Stars 5-1 in Division One, the fifth-placed south Craveners also took advantage of their rivals' failings and cup involvement to climb from fifth to second, and are now just a point behind Manningham with a game in hand.

Luke Barker, Trevor Harding, Jack Stephenson, Sam Woolley and substitute Seth Wiseman were on target for Cowling, who moved above Skipton Town (lost 7-2 at Carleton) and AFC Colne and Rolls Reserves, who played each other in the First Division Cup.

Jake Thompson's brace was all that Skipton Town could muster at Carleton in a 7-2 defeat, Stuart Gee (3), Joshua Banks (2), Jay Hopwood and man of the match Jamie Poulter scoring for the home side

Meanwhile, eighth-placed Bradley stayed ahead of Bingley Juniors thanks to a late equaliser in a 4-4 draw at Aire View, the visitors' goals coming from Andrew Hardeman (3) and substitute Joshua Waind.

Rolls Reserves went down 4-1 at AFC Colne in the first round of the Division One Cup, Damon Clark bagging the consolation, with the home side booking a quarter-final tie at Cowling.

In Division Two, front-runners Hellifield Sports were held 1-1 at second-placed Pendle Renegades Reserves, with Matthew Beckwith being on target for the visitors, while Settle United Reserves overtook Pendle's second string after a 6-0 thrashing of Skipton Town Reserves, Milton Mendes(4), Matthew Cardus and George Bowland netting for the winners.

Cononley Sports are also looking upwards after a 4-2 victory at Barnoldswick Barons, for whom man of the match Lewis McKane and Leon Wright scored, while Grassington United Reserves triumphed 4-2 at home to Trawden Celtic Reserves, thanks to Tarek Issa (2), Declan Hawkins and Elliott Hall.

Next-to-bottom Cross Hills Reserves made it two wins out of three with a 3-2 victory over AFC Barnoldswick, with goals coming from Luke Newton, Joshua Page and Billy Skelton.

In Division Three, Sutton's home match with Horton was abandoned in the second half, Mickey Ruddock scoring a hat-trick for the hosts before picking up his second yellow card, while Horton netted six.

Silsden Whitestar Reserves, aiming to make it a double celebration with the first team, are leading the table after a 6-2 victory at Cowling Reserves, Jamie Abbott and Rory Entwhistle scoring for Cowling.

Bradley Reserves went down 5-3 at home to Bingley Juniors Reserves, while Barlick Wanderers led 2-1 at half-time at home to Ilkley but ended up losing 4-3, with Daniel Poppleton (2) and Tom Duerden being the losers' marksmen.
