Cowling recorded a massive 8-1 win over Wilsden Athletic in one of the two games to survive the weather in the Premier Division.

Cowling’s win takes them up into the top half of the table and they also leapfrogged above promoted Athletic as a result.

The other match saw Cononley Sports play out a 3-3 draw at home to Trawden Celtic in a battle between two of the league’s early pacesetters.

The only game to take place in Division One saw Silsden Whitestar go down 1-0 away to Pendle Renegades.

The result, which is White- star’s second defeat of the season, sees them remain in the bottom half of the league.

Cononley Sports Reserves earned a point away from home at Ingrow and Worth Valley in Division Two.

A resilient performance from Broomhill was enough to gain them all three points in a 3-1 victory over a very game Settle side in Division Three.

Broomhill started fast and opened up a 2-0 lead by half-time courtesy of a Simon Harris penalty and an own goal after great work by top striker Andy Tanner.

The second half was less impressive by the Badgers and Settle pulled one back through Michael Ferguson.

A couple of astute changes then proved vital as subs Michael Clarkson and Joe Slater combined down the right to cross for Tanner to score.

Stephen Duff then added a fourth with a brilliant finish to the far corner.

Settle pulled one back through Samuel Woodrow in the dying minutes but this proved to be futile and Broomhill held out to keep their unbeaten streak intact.

Sutton went down to a crushing 8-3 away defeat at league leaders Grassington United Reserves.

Jeremy Gee scored a hat-trick for the hosts with further goals coming from Simon Boatwright (2), Jack Schindler (2) and Daniel Bates.

Barnoldswick Barons found it tough going against league leaders Manningham All Stars as they went down to a 7-2 defeat in Division Four.

Skipton Town Reserves got their fourth win of the season with a 2-0 victory at home to Carleton Reserves.

Town’s goals came from Shane Dwyer and Rob Spen- cer either side of home time with the win moving them up to sixth.

Dan Sharp’s solitary effort was not enough as Horton were defeated 2-1 by now second placed Pendle Renegades.

Bradley Reserves held on to beat Addingham 3-2 at home and move four points off the summit.
