Skipton 2nds 53 v Old Crossleyans 2nds 12

Skipton Seconds blitzed previously undefeated Old Crossleyans in a perfect response to their narrow defeat against Ilkley the week previously.

The home side led through Liam Jordan went over before Andy Bullock broke several tackles to score on the wing and Carl Nicholson also got in on the act.

Scott Kay scored twice and then touched down again with an excellent team try before Old Crossleyans hit back with two quick scores.

Skipton captain Chris Wright then claimed a well-deserved try and Owen Higson scampered clear to score before Andy Maclean supported a break to touch down.

Jordan Wilson then ran unopposed to score under the posts which was also converted.

This win came about through contributions from the whole team but Zack Webster, the Kay brothers Cam Braithwaite, Keiran Jackson along with Johnny Kulik all made massive contributions.

The most valuable player for his outstanding performance at outside centre was John Currie.
